Memorial Weekend!

FUN in the SUN at Nan and Papa Schoch's house! Sunday we headed to my parent's house, along with my brother, Lisa, and "Baby Ryan" (what Colter calls him). We did lots of swimming and lots of eating!

Updates to "Colter's Corral"

Yesterday, I finally finished turning Colter's room from a FARM themed room to a COWBOY themed room.....yep there is a difference! He had begun to outgrow the babyish farm decor that we had originally had in his room, so I decided to give it a little update to more of a little boy's room than a baby's room. The two pictures below are just of the two large walls in his room I have done a few other small changes, but these were the most fun to do, so I thought I would share!

This is the "Cowboy in Training" wall! The chaps and vest were Chad's when he was little, so it gives it a special touch.

This wall is above Colter's bed and is suppose to be a faux window in "Colter's Corral." Colter loves the Barnyard Dance by Sandra Boynton, so I painted the horse from that book waving at him. Chad also helped by making the frame for me. I haven't painted since high school and hated it then, so I am happy how this turned out, now I just hope Colter likes it!

War Paint OR Makeup?

We Are.....

Baby #2 will be arriving approximately December 14! That makes me 9 weeks and 2 days. We had our first doctor's appointment on Monday and our first ultrasound. Everything looks great! The baby's heart rate was 173, which is on the higher side so according to old wive's tales that means a GIRL! But we have about 10 more weeks till we find out for sure. No painting or picking out names just yet! Even Colter is excited. We keep asking him if he wants a brother or a sister and he always says he wants a brother and his name is Addison, which is my friend Jenae's baby's name. We are thrilled to share this news with everyone, between the all day morning sickness and baby bump it was getting hard to hide. Check back soon for more Baby Willis #2 updates!

Pool Party!

You know it is summer time in TEXAS when you bring out the baby pool!

FARMER FOR HIRE: Looking for work in wagon or stroller ride distance of neighborhood. Many skills to offer - please refer to pictures below. Must provide milk with lunch and a nap following. Cannot work overtime due to many scheduled play dates. Is willing to work in exchange for toys, juice boxes, and candy. Able to begin work promptly each day following Sesame Street. Happy Easter from all of us EXCEPT Colter! He was NOT happy about seeing the Easter Bunny and when I put him to bed last night he said "Momma I DON'T want the Easter Bunny to come to the house!"
