3 Year Old Check Up!

Colter got to wear his gorilla costume to Mother's Day Out today...he was very excited!

Yesterday, Colter had his 3 year old check up...yes a month late! We had a great visit with the doctor. To Colter going to the doctor is just as good as going to the park....he loves it! He always runs and gives his doctor a hug and sits in her lap. She has a lot of fun with him....she pulled out a magazine and they looked at it together and he told her about everything he saw in the magazine, including colors, shapes, and numbers. AND then he came across an ad for Zyrtec and he yelled "that is momma's medicine!" She thought that was funny that he knew that. Another funny moment was when the doctor was trying to get Colter to look at her nose she said "Colter is there a bee on my nose?" Colter started crying and said "No no no a bee will sting me!" She had forgotten that he is a little traumatized by bees, since he has already been stung 3 times in his short life!

Here are a few of Colter's stats and some things he has been doing as a three year old!

Height - 40 in (93%)

Weight - 35 lbs (79%)

- Colter LOVES counting....he now can count to 30

- Colter is really into pretend play....he is always a superhero, construction worker, or monster!

- His favorite stuffed animal right now is his Sock Monkey that my Aunt Nancy and Uncle David gave him....he wants to take him everywhere.

- His favorite books are of course superhero, but he also really likes the Little Critter books.

- He tells me often that his favorite color is green...probably because his favorite superhero is the Hulk!

- Colter's new favorite toys are his train table and his Gator.

- Colter loves going to Mother's Day Out...he doesn't even look back when I drop him off.

- Colter does NOT like to sit down to color or do crafts....he is all boy....go go go!

- His favorite cartoon right now is Scooby Doo.

- He is so outgoing and loves everyone he comes across...what a great trait to have!

  1. I would consider my child "all boy" and he loves to sit down and color and do crafts. Just FYI... :)
