I can't believe Christmas already came and went! This year was special, because Chad was home to spend it with us. Last year he was working out of town and missed Coy's first Christmas. BUT we definitely made up for it this year.
For the first time we took the boys to Santa's Wonderland in College Station to get in the Christmas spirit with yummy food and amazing lights. We are going to make this a Christmas tradition! I didn't get very many good pictures....very hard holding a baby and taking pictures at the same time.
Christmas Eve we spent with my family. Tons of family..tons of food...tons of gifts! It was great to get everyone together. The kids had so much fun playing together as always and I tried to catch up on some picture taking....I have been slacking.
On Christmas morning Coy woke up first and then we waited for Colter in the living room. He came sprinting out of his room sleepy eyed and ready to start ripping into his gifts! First, we had to make sure Santa ate his Rice Krispy Treat and the reindeer ate their celery. Santa left a little note for the boys thanking them for the snacks and also telling Colter that the trumpet he had asked for had fallen out of his sleigh and the mailman would deliver it to him soon....oops....bad Momma forgot to order a gift! Then the kids opened their gifts. Colter's favorite gift was probably the Spiderman costume and webslinger. Coy was a pro at opening his gifts...he did great!
After all of the excitement of opening gifts I noticed poor little Coy had a rash all over his torso. After talking to the doctor we decided to stay home while Chad and Colter went to his parent's for Christmas day. Coy and I missed out on all of the fun, but I got to hear all about it when the boys got home. Since I am the "photog" of our family I didn't get any pictures of Christmas day....sorry!
Now that Christmas has past we can't wait to see what this New Year has to bring us!
