Painted Ladies

A couple weeks ago Memaw and Pawpaw gave Colter the neatest gift.....BUTTERFLIES! We got to watch the entire process of 10 caterpillars turn into beautiful Painted Lady Butterflies. Each day we would check on the caterpillars, and then before we knew it we had butterflies and were releasing them in our backyard....Colter's favorite part. He is obsessed....I mean crazy obsessed right now over bugs, so this was the perfect gift for him.

6 Month Check Up

Coy had his 6 month check up today! My baby boy is getting so big....check out his stats!

Weight - 18 lbs 11 oz (70%)

Height - 28 1/2 in (98%)

Head - 44 1/2 ( 80%)

6 months is such a great age! Coy is doing so many fun things and has the sweetest most laid back personality. He has been rolling over since he was 4 months old and has not slowed down. He has gotten his two bottom teeth and is working on his top two right now. The boy is a drooler...I need to buy stock in bibs! He is almost sitting up...maybe a couple more weeks and he will have the hang of it. He has now officially started his 2nd foods and so far likes everything.

COUSINS!

We had a nice surprise this weekend! My cousin's Katy, Wayne, and little Sydney Kate came all the way from Arkansas for a visit. It was so nice to spend time with them....can't wait to do it again soon!
