Catherine Gibson

Monday, Catherine came down with the H1N1 virus, got a secondary virus, and left us Wednesday evening. Catherine was a sweet, beautiful, 5 year old girl who loved to read. She was my sister's niece and we loved to visit with her when we were in Austin. Colter grew very fond of her this summer calling her "Capro." While the other kiddos were watching their morning cartoons you would find Catherine in the corner reading a book. So, in honor of her memory and her love of books, Catherine's parents, Kristin and Ken, started an endowment at Dell Children's Medical Center. This endowment will provide children's books for the hospital.

If you are interested in donating you can visit the website:

- Select “Dell Children’s Medical Center of Central Texas” as the category. (center of page)
- Enter “Catherine Gibson Endowment” as the subcategory.
- Enter donation amount and click Continue.
- Enter your information, and in "in memory of Catherine."

Catherine's service will be:

Monday, October 12, at 11:00am
St. Thomas More Catholic Church
10205 N. UR 620 Austin, TX 78726
512.258.1161

Catherine was very loved and will be missed dearly. Please keep her family in your thoughts and prayers as they make it through this very tough time.

"Our precious Catherine has grown wings and is in heaven with her Grandma Rita, Grandpa Ken, and my Tutu."

- Kristin Gibson, Catherine's Mommy

Hypochondriac?

For Colter's birthday we got him a doctor's kit and boy does he love it! He now walks around telling me that he is "sick" and that I need to "take temp." Then after I take his temperature I have to give him "his medicine," check his heart and then tap his knees. When I tell him he is all better he says "NO MOMMA.....SICK!" Oh boy...what did we start?

Trip To The Park

Yesterday, Chad, Colter, and I headed to the park, so Colter could enjoy some outdoor fun before all the rain!
