Coy's First Photo Shoot!

On Friday, we took the boys to get their pictures taken. It was Coy's "3 month" pictures and their first set of "brother" pictures. Coy was great....he is such a good smiler we had no problems getting pictures, if anything there were just too many to choose from. Colter on other hand decided to pretend he didn't know how to smile that day....oh goodness. So, we had lots of "growling" pictures, "frowning" pictures, and "monster face" pictures (see last photo below). The pictures below are just a few of the 104 that the photographer put on a disk for us...not necessarily the ones we chose (again last photo...not one we chose ).

Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo

Sunday, we put on our cowboy boots and headed down to the rodeo! This was Colter's first time to attend the actual rodeo, normally we just take him to the livestock show. It was a really long day for him, but he loved it. I think his favorite things were seeing the chickens, riding a pony, and as he put it "that singer," aka Jason Aldean. Every year we get front row seats to the rodeo called "Action Seats," and boy they aren't lying! Every time we have gone I have been smacked in the face with dirt or a bronc has slammed into the rail in front of us! I was so excited for Colter to experience this. We almost made it through the entire rodeo, but when Jason Aldean came on every time he paused in between songs Colter would say "now is the rodeo over?" So, we packed up our little cowboy and headed home.

Colter's First FISH!

Today, Chad took Colter down to the neighborhood pond and he caught his very first FISH! I missed all the action, but thank goodness Chad had his phone to catch the moment. Looks like we might have a future fisherman in the family.

Today, after bathtime I spiked up Colter's hair and he looked in the mirror and said....I'M A ROCKSTAR!

3 Months Old!

Today, Coy is officially 3 months old! He has grown so much since we brought him home and is doing lots of new things. Coy keeps us entertained with his sweet smiles and little giggles. He loves to be tickled and sucks on his hands and anything that comes near his mouth. Something that was unexpected that he started doing a week or so ago was rolling over! I couldn't believe it! He did it twice in one day and hasn't stopped. He also loves to push himself up on his arms and look around the room. He is still the sweetest baby and a great sleeper...what more could you ask for!

Coy's First Trip!

Coy, Colter, and I took a quick trip to Austin to visit my sister, my niece, and nephew. This was Olivia and Evan's first time to meet Coy, so it was fun for everyone. Boy is it a lot different traveling with two kids versus one, but we had a blast. Colter was so excited to see his cousins and didn't want to leave. They played and played and played some more....mostly Power Rangers, Star Wars, Super Heroes, and puzzles. We can't wait to go back!
