Today Misty, Emerson, Colter, and I ventured downtown to the Children's Museum to explore their "Tot Spot" exhibit. We arrived about 10am and had about 10 minutes of playing before it become completely CHAOTIC! All of sudden it was as if someone opened the flood gates and in came all the toddlers and their parents. You could hardly walk without stepping on a little finger or toe. But even with the crowd Colter and Emerson managed to have fun.

Sexy booties we had to wear over our shoes
Colter digging into some toys
Right when we arrived Colter ran to the window and shouted "OUT!" Even with all the toys he would rather be outside...such a BOY!

If someone could just lift me up??
This was Colter's favorite spot, probably because it was away from all the chaos

This week Colter and I took a trip to visit my sister and her family in Austin. We were so excited to spend time with Colter's Aunt Laura aka Darrah, Olivia aka Yar-Ya, and Evan aka Evan...he can say that one perfectly. We missed out on seeing Uncle Craig he had headed to Houston for work. Colter and I were ready for a few days of swimming and lots of playing. Well, Colter played and I chased. This is all I am going to say...my sister lives in a million dollar home and I have a toddler....no explanation needed! Before I left I had debated on taking the infamous "baby jail," and I am sure glad I did! Who knew the "baby jail" was going to be such a hit! All the kids wanted to play in it, including Olivia and Evan's other cousin, Catherine aka Capro, as Colter loved to call her. By the end of each day Colter and I were worn out from all the swimming, chasing, ice cream eating, slip n slide, baby jail playing, and more chasing that we had to do some relaxing on the couch. Okay, I needed to relax on the couch, but Colter did love sitting up there with his cousins...he thought he was such a big boy! We had a great time and can't wait to come visit again. Colter is still yelling DARRAH and looking for her....he loves his aunt! What a great trip.
Evan, Colter, and Olivia...don't you just love Evan's expression...come on guys!

Last Wednesday Colter and I had a wonderful treat! Amanda, Peyton, Misty, and Emerson came to visit for the day. It was so good to just relax, eat, and chat, while the boys played. This was the first time Peyton has come to our house to visit....she is such a sweet baby! She has the cutest little chubby tummy. She is already 17 lbs and only 3 months....Amanda what are you feeding her? Colter has been cracking me up for the past few weeks he has been attemping to say Misty and Emerson....well it comes out more like this.....Mooty and Hiny!!! I can understand Mooty for Misty, but Hiny for Emerson...what in the world? He just loves his Mooty and Hiny and lets me know all the time! Just two days ago in his sleep he said NOT Momma, but Mooty...Hiny, and then he was back out. And boy when he sees Amanda he is the biggest flirt! I have never seen him give such a big grin. So, as you can tell Colter was in hog heaven when all his buddies came to visit. While the boys fought over toys us girls were looking at old photo albums....wow has life changed in just a few short years. We are now married, now moms, not as skinny, not as tan, are shorts are a little bit longer, and our shirts a little bit looser, but we would all agree we wouldn't change a thing!

Emerson thought Colter needed a little cooling off!
Today our sweet little nephew Tyler turned TWO!!! We celebrated his birthday Circus Style; with a snow cone machine, popcorn, face painting, pin the nose on the clown, giant bouncer, and their very own balloon artist....Laura, Tyler's Mommy! Everyone had a great time, Colter especially loved playing in the ice for the snow cone machine and jumping in the bouncer with Memaw. Poor little Tyler was just pooped at the end of the day from all the excitement! We love you so much Tyler....Happy Birthday!
