Colter's Birthday Weekend...

FINALLY.....here are some pictures from Colter's birthday and his party! On Friday, Chad got off of work early and Colter and I met him at Incredible Pizza....what a fun place! First, we let Colter run around their toddler area and ride all of their rides. His favorite was the train and the very cool airplane that elevated. Next, we took a break from all the playing and ate some pizza and of course ice cream. Then it was back to playing!

While Colter was napping Daddy made him a chocolate cake...yum! Then when Colter woke up we let him decorate it, and then it was time to blow out some candles! We sang Happy Birthday and Colter started crying saying over and over "NO CAKE!" But he loved blowing out the candles, so we kept relighting them because he would say "MORE FIRE!" We might have a future pyro on our hands. So, Daddy and Momma enjoyed the cake, while Colter was still chanting "NO CAKE!" He sure missed out. Then it was time to open gifts. Not sure who had more fun playing with the new toys...Daddy or Colter?

Then Saturday we headed to the 7 Acre Wood for Colter's Sesame Street themed birthday party. Once everyone arrived the little ones got to ride Scout the pony. Then it was time to chase around goats, llamas, chickens, and deer in the petting zoo. This was Colter's favorite part....he even made a llama friend (view pics below). Next it was time to eat lunch...pizza and lemonade! We sang Happy Birthday to Colter afterwards and once again he began to cry, but was okay when he realized he could blow out the candle. Then gift time! Colter really made out with some neat gifts....Chad and I have been having fun opening and playing with them. After we opened the gifts the kids got to play a fishing game where they got to catch a toy. This wrapped up the party and it was time to head out! The kiddos were pooped! Thanks to everyone who helped make Colter's 2nd birthday so special!

Monday I took Colter to the doctor for his 2 year old check up. The doctor said everything was great and he is right on track! Here are his stats:

Weight - 29 lbs 12 oz (72%)
Height - 36 inches (92%)
Head - 51 cm (95%)

The doctor said Colter should be between 6ft and 6ft 3in when he is older.

Mean Momma took this picture right when he woke up...I sang him Happy B-day and gave him his first gift
