Trick or Treat!

Halloween just might be Colter's favorite holiday! In his 3 short years of Halloween he has perfected trick or treating, being scary, and loves in his own words anything "spooky!"

This year our friend's Christy, Chad, and Olivia went trick or treating with us...what fun! My "Chad" had to miss this Halloween due to work and we sure missed him. This year Colter was a gorilla and Olivia was a witch! They had the best time trick or treating and we got a kick out of watching them. Chad had the duty of pulling the wagon (thanks again) and Christy and I supervised the trick or treating. The kids were so funny, they ran to the doors like pros, one ringing the doorbell and the other knocking, and most of the time they peeked through the windows! One house they even decided to open the door and walk in on their own, needless to say we don't have shy kids. After over an hour of trick or treating and buckets full of candy we called it a night. Colter's first words this morning were "mom is it still Halloween?"

The GORILLA

Every year since Colter was born I have taken pictures of him on this bench with this witch and vampire. Here is his first Halloween just a month old....wow does time fly!

He LOVES his pumpkins that he picked out at the Pumpkin Patch

Hanging out waiting for the Hewitt's to come over...

Olivia the Witch and Colter the Gorilla

Cuties!

Pure Sweetness!

I love the look on Olivia's face! Ugh...come on already....

Papa Schoch stopped by to see his little Gorilla!

She's just to pretty to be a witch!

Loaded up and ready to go!

What's the hold up??

The first house

Chad Hewitt "The Designated Wagon Driver" ...next year I think we will have to upgrade to our atv and trailer!

Ding Dong!

Colter loved this blow up cat at one of the houses....

The phrase of the night "JUST TAKE ONE!!!!"

I guess Chad wasn't moving fast enough Olivia had to take over the wagon pulling!

Anyone home?

Peeking in the window!

Cool Halloween decorations...almost as good as getting candy...almost.

I didn't think I would ever get Colter to leave this yard with all of their very "spooky" decor. Colter kept saying "mom can we go to another spooky house?"
