Cowboy Cavier

This is one of my favorite dips! It is great for parties, because you can make it the night before. It is one of those recipes where you either love it or hate it.....and I love it!

2 cans black eyed peas, drained
1 can white hominy, drained
1/2 onion chopped, or as much or as little as you like
2 jalapenos, finely chopped
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 cup minced parsley or you can use dried parsley
1 large tomato, chopped
8 oz bottle of Italian salad dressing

1. Combine all ingredients and refrigerate overnight
2. Drain before serving
3. Serve with tortilla chips
